Industrial circuit breakers

Anybody know a company that buys non-working industrial circuit breakers and reconditions them?

I've got some used, non-working industrial breakers and I'm wondering what to do with them.

Man I tried to sell a pile of big ones in stainless boxes this past summer, brand new. I got some commercial contractor friends of mine to look at them. they agreed they were very expensive.

I couldn't give the damn things away. No construction=no market. They went to the scrap yard.

I usually don't have any problem selling breakers that work. Drop me a line next time you have some and I'll point you in the right direction.

Just curious, but how much did you get for circuit breakers at the scrap yard? I've heard $.08 per pound, but I've never sold any at the scrap yard.

They were in stainless boxes. I think it was aruond .22/lb But that was this summer. July.

Things have heated up since then. These were big bastards. 5-7 lbs each.

Thanks. I've got all kinds of breakers I'd sell for $.22/lb, even some working ones. I'll have to start calling around.

The breakers miight not draw that price. The yard wanted the boxes.
