If Brinks is really sorting these for such a small premium, who's to say you couldn't make some calls and buy some yourself. I'm sure if they did $5m for a $65k premium, they would do $10k for a $400 premium.

Just make sure to post the contact info for the rest of us after you make your purchase. ;)

I see a new tread starting.....GROUP BUY SIGNUP FOR A 25 TON LOAD OF COPPER PENNIES. :D

It was pretty easy for the dollar freeloaders with their credit cards. It's easy enough for the penny drivers. We need our own penny drive, with a legitimate cause consisting of donated zincs and such.

I've received several brinks boxes lately full of zincs - not new, but apparently sorted. I got $25 boxes from multiple different banks (all brinks boxes) and they were all like that.

I'm sticking to my $50 bags from the CU...

I believe that this would fit into a 4000-5000 sq ft building. That really isn't that big.

If you could stack 2 ton pallets 5 high, that is 10 tons in 14sq feet. Multiply that by 160 stacks and you are using 2240 sq ft.
switching to 1 ton pallets 5 high and you need 4480 sq ft.

I just picked up 2 boxes from Wells Fargo (loomis boxes) and this is the 2nd time we have found very little copper (total of 4 boxes) I too will stick with the bags I get from my CU.
