Ray's a poet and he didn't even know it.

Please rhyme me a rhyme

At least that's what I've always heard
To outpace inflation
He invests in safe havens
Till they reach levels that today seem absurd

There once was a gent named Ray
Selling silver made him gay (no not that one, the happy one)
Selling more and more to pick up gold
Such moves others say were bold
However for him it was the bomb, eh (Crap, now I made Ray out to be a Canadian with that "eh" thing)

Oh well.

They all question Silver Sales I'm told
And the conversion of silver to gold
But when you've filled up five vaults
Further purchases should then halt
Too much silver can be unwieldy to hold

We've a member on the realcent forum named the saabman
Who, were he a baseball fan, could quote stats of Ty Cobb, and
His avatar "don't tread on me"
Promoted Colonial Liberty
And that snake? It's scarier than McQueen screaming "it's the Blob, man!"

The Giants are going
to win it all

Total score of 43
will net me $133

It's not too late
for you to get in
look under Contests
and you could win! ;)

The bookies and strippers, they do agree
The winner will surely have to be me
Do they know somethin'?
I never win nuthin'
I guess we'll just wait and see.

As time ticks away from the clock,
I find myself not shaken nor shocked,
That despite all the jawing,
Hoop-hollering and hee-hawing,
We still have no entry from Doc.

Making bets never brought Doc fame
Wagering money to him seems tame
He roots with his Giant instead
Inside the dame that he beds
And despite stubby fingers, she's game

Punxutawney Phil is a groundhog once portrayed
In a Bill Murray comedy with the ability to say
Whether Winter will last six more weeks
Or weather, Spring's sunshine starts to peek
Depends if his shadow is seen on February, Second day

Death
Is Such a Distance away
Such that it never Quite
Seems To reach Us
Until It's too soon
Lo and Behold!
Tis here
Betwixt infinity and nothingness
Between meaning and absurdity
The end is to be found in the process
It is already present.

I know its not in keeping with the nature of the thread, but it came out here, and im too lazy to move it ;)

Big Game on TV.
Everyone watching with glee.
I may have a beer,
but may thoughts are still here,
