Canadian $20 coins on sale

Postby Diggin4copper » Mon Jan 30, 2012 9:25 pm

Those 20 dollar silver coins are on sale at the Canadian mint.. not much downside to these... If you also buy a 1/2 oz dragon and use the code geodec11 you get free shipping.. like getting the dragon for 17 bucks...

They are offering a subscription for the next coin too. Be sure to add 3 coins and 3 subscriptions.

How much silver is in each of the coins?

Also, there are 2 codes for free shipping ... I used geodec11 and others are reporting Gazette 30 works too. However, the free shipping offer is only for orders over $70, that's why most people are adding the 1/2 ozt dragon to their order. Hope this helps.

Tried the geodec11 code and it would not work. I guess I'll go back and try the other.

I purchased 3 for myself yesterday, Gazette 30 worked just fine. Rumor has it that it no longer applies today.

This is a report from over at BS. I ordered mine yesterday, too, so I don't know about today. Did you add something to the order to bring it over $70?

Dang!!! I tried to order (order was over $70.00) and neither geodec11 or Gazette30 would work for the free shipping. Wish I saw this yesterday

I like the design of this one.
But $12.99 shipping is a deal breaker.

That is a sweet design. I am tempted even without the free shipping. I flipped the last set on feebay for a little profit, but I bet these will be more popular because of the cool swimming bear. Too bad I can't buy 50 of them and get in the Masters Club and free shipping. I really like some of their dragon designs too but they seem a bit too expensive.

I'm a little confused. Is the free shipping just for Canadian orders? If not, is there a code that's working? If I can't find one, I'll probably just ahead and order- even with the shipping, that's a great coin that I definitely want in my "collection."

I took the plunge and ordered them even with the shipping. I tried every code I could and none worked. Damn you lucky Canucks! :)
