A nice 1toz per $1,000 searched. Another road trip this week. I am loving sorting for silver this year. I wanted to find 1toz per week this year and have exceeded expectations so far, knock on wood. I found my 200th silver (counting both dimes and halves) of the year this week. Keep diggin' for silver, it's out there.

It's been a while since I have done any roll hunting. Finances have put a hamper on that. But last week I was able to order some halves. I ordered 16 boxes. Nothing earth shattering but I did manage to score some silver. I forgot to write down what came out of what boxes but I do have the totals for those and they are as follows:

(1) 90% a 1964 gold plated (I was shocked I thought it was going to be one of the typical 197? gold plated!!)
(27) 40%
3 of the boxes were skunks and most averaged 1-3 per box..

As I made the last of my dumps today from last week boxes I scored a nice bag off of the coin counter: I will tell more in the silver bullion thread..

I had Friday off, so I took a little road tip to a small town about 30 miles outside of town. Three banks in the town. First two banks had 3 halves for me, skunk. Last bank had an old plastic bag of $1000 in halves. I hit the restroom and when I came out, the teller was going through the bag. I could see a '67 there on the table and thought, oh great, she is pulling the silver. No, she told me she found a 2 dollar Canadian coin and threw another half in to compensate. She asked me if I wanted to use that table to count it. HAHA, No, I trust you guys. As soon as I was in the parking lot, I looked on top of the bag, 1964. I knew it was going to be good.

Saturday the 11th, I got a 1961 Rosie from a bank bag of pennies. I was running the Ryedale on zinc accept and it spit out on the reject side. I looked down and thought that does not look like a clad dime. It wasn't. Later that morning I was looking through some quarter rolls to fill the last few P mintmarks in my two daughters state quarter books and I was pulling all the eagle backs first and dumping them in a cup. I tossed several in and heard "the sound." I looked in the cup and a nice 1964 Washington was staring back at me.
