Steel pennies -consortium - How many can we get?

Postby Elcid69 » Tue Feb 21, 2012 12:47 am

How many of you would like to pool resources of steel pennies? I know we all have a small batch somewhere. I'm 65, but as a kid, steels were as they say " A dime a dozen" - If we could get as many as possible to pool "100" steels & then offer the bulk for sale, not only here but perhaps other places,it would be interesting to see what could happen, so I would like your ideas to make it fun. Say we had 100 x 100 or 10,000 steels?? Open for discussion..... Partners in "crime"

I have a few nice rolls my dad put back in the 50s. They still aren't hard to find even in nice grade, but maybe time and rust will attrition them down so that mine are worth something at least by the time I have a son.
