Bad news: 1 box of halves = skunk!
Good news: I finally have a new source for boxes of halves after almost a year!

Today was a Mega Dime score for me! I went to pick up some rolls from a local BoA branch with only $150 so I couldn't get a full box and the teller gave me 30 CWRs. I wasnt too happy since most of the CWR always end up as skunks. I scored nothing until the 18 roll when I open up and see a silver roosie ender. As soon and I dump it there it was: a full roll of silver!!!! My first ever solid roll! ( I only do dimes since I don't have much bank roll). My heart was pounding. I kept opening the other rolls and got until the third to last roll which was an almost solid roll with the exception of 10 clad dimes. I found it weird since some of the clad dimes were pretty new including a 2001 D. Anyways I quickly drove to my dump bank to exchange, drove back to my pick up bank and my teller had already gone home. So I asked the head teller if she could give me anymore CWRs that might be left. She told me that the few that were left were given to a lady doing a change pickup. She offered me some new String and son's rolls but I declined. Oh well, at lest I ended up with 90 silver dimes and I have never been happier! I thought I would never come across a solid roll since I always do dimes. I guess Im still pretty new to this because I have never heard of anyone finding a solid dimes roll.

Also 4 were mercury dime (40,43, 2x 44) and the other 86 were roosies.

Now that's pretty.

Best box in a while.

Half Box #81

1 1966
2 1968D
2 1969D

2 1964

1 1952 Ben

Half Box #82

1 1968

Just a side note. I dumped at some banks today and at one I had a teller who didn't know what a half was. Granted she was just a kid (she later told me that she had only been an employee for a month and this was her first real job), but she actually thought I was trying to give her fake money until she called one of the other tellers over who told her they were real money. I started to tell her that the paper stuff in her drawer was the fake money, but decided not to confuse her any further.

Well the silver god's have smiled down on me the last two days!! Tuesday I picked up $20.00 in CWR Halves from a local bank and the first roll was a skunk but the second roll had (17) 40% in it. I could not believe it. I was pretty excited!!

Then today I went into another branch of the same bank as yesterday and they had $320.00 in CWR Halves. I figured they were all skunk's since I have picked up CWR's from here before in quantity and they were all dumps. But, when the teller handed the rolls over to me I noticed a few of them were wrapped in an older looking paper rolls. I thought to myself who know's? So I get out to the car and I grabbed the first roll which was a white paper roll. I noticed it had an "S" hand written on the side. I joked with me Fiance "Maybe the "S" is for silver" as I smiled. I opened the end and there was a 40% staring at me. I smiled even bigger and showed her the silver. I let the halves slide out into my hand and what do you know a solid roll!! My Fiance let out an appropriate expletive and shook her head. I glanced through them and 2 were 90% JFK and the balance was 40%. So I opened the remaining 2 rolls in the white paper and they were the standard clad. I grabbed the older looking brown paper roll and noticed it too had an "S" written on it. I looked at her again and smiled and said "That "S" looks familiar". I opened it and said "Silver!" I slid them out into my hand, and another expletive accompanied yet another solid roll of silver. This time they were all 40%. The remainder of the rolls were all skunks but I'm not complaining. Here is the break down..
