I tried to stick with one coin per letter of the alphabet...

I was thinking about trying to find a bicentennial set with the Ike, half, and quarter... But this Nepal is pretty sweet too. It is Nepal, right?

That was quick. Thanks Joe.
It's time for MY YEAR! I counted up, and I had enough 74s in 2x2s for at least EIGHT of these "pages." Plus all those mint and proof sets and such... I've been setting 1974 aside for quite some time now, even before I officially collected them.

In 1968 some of the 10 cent were made in the USA. Letter A is Philadelphia and C is Ottawa.

Yeah, you're lately the main guy keeping this moving. I figured I could bat it back and forth with you until others join back in again.

I had a big jar of world coins that I had set aside over the years, that I had never sorted out or put in 2x2's... stuff I wanted to keep, but didn't really want to PURSUE, if you know what I mean. I decided to take that all out and sort it by decade instead of by country. Got out a separate little container for the 60's, 50's, 40's, 30's, etc... so at this time, I have a stack for each individual year, 1950 through 1963. There is actually a lot more from the 40's. Maybe because all the soldiers brought that stuff home from the war? I didn't go through the US or Canadian or Mexican or British stuff - those are all in their own binders...

EDIT: here's me sneaking in some of my favorite 63's before I post some fun 62's.

Aww, heck. I know I'm gonna break my own rule, by posting consecutive years, but I can't help it. These 1961 coins are some of my favorites. And my 1960 stack isn't that fun. And I have some really boss stuff for 1959 too.
Fiji, Lebanon, Liberia, New Zealand, and some of the big boys.
Very simple Fiji design... and if you spin the coin upside down, it still says the date.
Image
This Lebanon coin was one my girls found while digging in a dealer's junk bin. Absolutely LOVE the lion pic.
Image
Wrong side, but this Liberia cent is a great elephant. I believe I have posted this exact coin before... Bluegill, do you remember what I'm talking about, from the good old days? :)
Image
Freaky lookin tiki from New Zealand.
Image
And seriously, how many countries made these big guys? Four bronze pennies...
