I stand corrected. Are the hand "punched" out of those sheets?

Small bars with relatively simple designs (think lettering and line art) can be. The A&M bars are done by hand. Anything with a "full face" type design, and larger bars, require more pressure. The Valcambi bars are minted in a coining press.

The problem that I see is that the bars are two times spot. Holy smokes I just noticed that the gold grams on ebay are OVER twice spot. I was going to say that no one would give you twice spot for a gram bar, but I guess they will. Buy 100, it's worth it to just break em and sell them individually on the bay?

Oh well, the silver ones on the bay are 3x spot. You can forget those. I can buy grams of silver all day long at 2.00/shipped.
Was hoping for nothing worse than 1.60 considering the dramatic decrease in production cost.
Someone here needs to do this. Come on all you high rollers form a consortium to buy a coinage press. (I want to see RC Eagles by year's end.)

Talk about highway robbery, I look at these things and I want them even though I don't think they are worth it.

They're neat - but that's alot of premium. Highroller is offering a pretty good deal on here though.

What is the minimum purchase if you buy direct?
