Picked up $163.50 in loose or teller rolled halves while out of town buying some Philharmonics today. Found 3 - 66s, 2 67s, and a 68....more than paid for gas...and i haven't even touched the $100 in pennies i was also able to get. i had to go to 17 banks (plus one BoA where i dumped last week's rejects) to get all of them.

For the year, i have now found 13 40% in just $858.00 searched. That seems like such a good percentage that i'm not gonna complain about not getting any 90%

$360 loose halves at bank. Skunk. I was called and told there was $530 in loose halves and I got there within 30 minutes of the call, but somehow $170 disappeared. I was afraid of that because there are several older tellers who know about silver coins. If the coins would have been rolled it might have been a great score. 340 40% silver halves @$4.79 each = $1,629 Almost all of the coins were 1971.
