Rodebaugh "The Miner" SS#3 Silver Ingot

Postby Rodebaugh » Wed Mar 21, 2012 3:11 pm

Once again, in cooperation with The Copper Cave a limited run of Rodebaugh One Ounce Silver ingots know as "The Miner" will be produced. How limited? Looks like it’s going to be a 100 ounce total run as of now with no less than 20 ingots staying in my possession. Nate will get the remaining 80 ingots for exclusive release through his website (http://www.coppercave.com). The release date and time has been set for Friday, April 27th at Midnight. The coolest thing about these bars is that they will be individually serial numbered on the reverse like the First Pours and Fatboys. Also, just like those ingots, no more will be made after this first and final run. I’m pretty sure the Copper Cave is going to limit bars per order as was done with the Fatboys so everyone has a chance at getting at least one ingot upon release. So without further ado, I give you... . . . . . . .

Heard a lot of good things about your previous sets. Looking forward to getting at least one of these. Also your link appears to not be working to the copper cave.

Is copper cave going to limit the order to zero? as that's the only chance everyone will have in getting and ingot

Super sweet bars Doc, my favorite so far. Hopefully I'll have better luck with these than I did on the fat boys, can't wait!

Hope I'm not in trouble for mentioning this, but someone was buying back, or buying the first pours at a pretty decent premium, I was curious the story on that if anyone knows it.

The story:
I ran a buyback earlier this year and got #42 for my personal collection  . A couple other folks followed suit by putting out their own BST threads for First Pours and Fatboys. Not sure if any traded hands there.

Can anyone post what the Fat Boy sold for? this will probably be a good indicator as to what Nate will be selling the new Miner ingot for.

The Fat Boys were $57. If spot stays where it's at, the Miners will be a little cheaper.

No. Those are the classic ingots, no serial numbers.
