From trash to cash

Saw a decent table out in someones garbage in my cul de sac. I grabbed it thinking Im going to run it up to goodwill so someone can get some value out of it. Then I started thinking, why don't I just run an ad on CL. So I did for a couple weeks on a chicago suburbs, no luck. Then I switched it to chicago and got a buyer in one week for 15$.

Nice score, about the equivalent of getting a 90% and a 40% from the bank. I have to admit I've done this same thing on more than one occasion.

Its still raining but garage sales should start soon That spurs my interest have to keep eye out but I'm lucky if I can double my bucks on scrap Al an Brass
