Explain this Ryedale to me

Postby My2Cents » Sun Apr 01, 2012 7:22 pm

I've heard great things about the Ryedale, so I'm entertaining the thought of getting one. I do have a few questions though...

Here's a picture of the Apprentice Legacy Ryedale Sorter Package 6 for $550

Now... I don't know all of the parts and pieces involved, thus, I don't know the purpose of the extra hoppers or the extra feed wheels. Do the feed wheels go bad or something? And what's the purpose of the extra hoppers? Does that just stack on top so you can then load in 10,000 pennies?

I'm not worried about the cost, but I would like to get something and not have to worry about it breaking down on me and not having spare parts on hand.

Best machine on the market. I believe the extra wheels contain another penny and a nickle wheel but I'm probably wrong. The hoppers stack and allow you to put more pennies in. Get a bottle of dri slide and you will be good to go.

There is an entire Ryedale sub forum on here for all particular questions.

HOLY CRAP.... That's precisely what I was needing. And I didn't know that there was a whole subsection on the Ryedale on this webite... It just goes to show how large this place is because I didn't see that.

Been selling Bare Bones units on Ebay lately too.
I can do a little better if we cut out Ebay and do a check.

$395?, I might have to talk to the wife again tonight. :)

Andy, addons for this machine can be purchased and installed separately?

Is there an addon part to count rejects for returning to the bank?

Bare bones is Bare Bones, but you could add extensions and wheels. If you want counters, get the Ebay "Plus" unit. which is also a great deal.

So let's cut a deal then. I'm more than willing to cut Ebay out of the equation to score a deal. Let's talk Turkey on this... send me a PM

My first one showed up today. Well, the "sorry we missed you" note from UPS showed up today. Argh! Dang that UPS! Now I have to wait another 24 hours knowing there's 6 fresh bags of cents in my back room calling my name. "Dinero! Sort us!" Killing me... :) YDM Andy!
