Defendable Home plans (looking for)

Wondering if anyone knows of some good sites for defendable home plans? I'm really thinking about bouncing out to some land with well-water.. and other than a root cellar/bunker... I started thinking how would one defend the home or what is the better type of home to build?
I have started to look at how other countries build their homes but haven't found anything good yet.

Have you looked at Joel Skousen's website?
I have read his books and they do contain a lot of good info. Best if you are building from scratch although i suppose you could retrofit a house.
Jim Rawles website has a TON of great info as well.

I poked around a little, trying to find something on the homes in Afghanistan and the rest of the middle east. Found a little online. If anyone knows how to build defendable homes, that bunch over there certainly should.
