Newest $20 for $20 from RCM

It's not on the Mint.ca site yet, but there is a new $20 for $20 coin coming out. No photo either in the email. I'll be watching my mail. Getting this because I signed up for pre-order of the next coin when I bought my polar bear coins.

"We're delighted to inform you of the release of the $20 for $20 Diamond Jubilee commemorative coin, to which you have subscribed. No need to call – your credit card will be charged when the coin ships. Watch for its arrival by mail in the next 2 to 3 weeks.

We hope you enjoy your memento of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, as Queen Elizabeth II becomes only the second British Monarch to reign for 60 years."

I hope you enjoy it also since, there's "No need to call – your credit card will be charged when the coin ships."

Sounds cool though...

I received that email also. I think my cc changed though, so I'm going to check out the CA mint site and confirm :)

I don't want to miss out on my little $20 :)

I wish they would do something like this in the states. It seems like a win-win situation to me. The mint gets well over spot for their coins. customers get to keep any rainy day funds in a form that is leveraged AND still immediately liquid. Id keep a few thousand worth of something like this if we had them in the states, and it wasnt a limited mintage.

I don't think it will happen here. The US is too focused on keeping people in the markets, and the PTB don't want any of our money in hard assets (unless they're leveraged like housing).
