I'm pretty sure they eliminated bills higher than a hundred to reduce money laundering and make it harder to deal with and transport large amounts of cash...you know, like drug dealers and other black market cash only type deals...
For that reason, I don't see any upper range changes being made...
I would like to see a 5$ coin...just to show Canada up

Can I still get $2 denominations crisp and new from a bank or CU? I have a small stack of them, but I'd like some new ones too!

They still print them you can get a 2012 single ready for framing at http://www.moneyfactorystore.gov/20122singlenote.aspx
