Banking industry consolidation

Many industries have gone through very similar major restructurings over the past 20-30 years, and look very much like this. But I hadn't seen this specific one - thought it notable. Apologies if it has been posted already.

Interesting chart.

I have one of the Franklin Mint Bank silver ignots sets from the 1970's and a whole lot of those banks are no longer around.
If you are waiting for the "correction" to buy you need to realize that the increasing prices ARE the correction.
