New Canadian coins don't work in traffic meters

Postby mickeyman » Thu Apr 26, 2012 7:48 am

Almost don't have time to write this as I am trying to sort a few rolls before work.

The RCM's wonderful new (cost-saving) loonies and toonies don't work in Toronto parking meters, necessitating an expensive overhaul.

The savings keep on coming.

This seems like a good reason to issue more parking violations.
Always drink upstream from politicians, they tend to foul things up.

Maybe on a day off I should wander around offering to sell "old style" loonies at a price of 4 for $5
to people desperate to park. ^_^
