Discussion about the collecting, buying/selling, exchanging, design, and printing of notes and paper money from around the world, as well as the currency markets generally. Also, the discussion of items related to world currency like exonumia and scripophily.

I have two shoe boxes full of banknotes, almost all in protective holders. I'm guessing at least 1000 different banknotes. Does anyone know of someone who is an expert in foreign currency that could be trusted to give an appraisal?

Both

Honestly it depends on the value, I'm trying to downside a bit and not be so spread out. I know some bills are more unique and collectable than others while some of the stuff is just regular run of the mill.
If I did sell I'm sure I'd be better off selling to a collector who wants to really jump start a collection that has a goal of trying to bill from every country.

Maybe the KSAs are the way to go?

KSA's might work but honestly there are only so many people on RC that do foreign banknotes, so Ebay may be more profitable on certain ones. If you want to email scans to me I can help you out just send a PM.
