Has anyone ever purchased the APMEX Generic Silver?

Generic Silver .999+ Fine - As low as $0.89 per oz over spot!

I think we are seeing and incredible buying opportunity before us as silver drops.

I know.....I know what you are going to say. The price will go lower.

Regardless, the economic situation worldwide is getting worse not better! Who ever gets elected as president is going to face our ultimate economic collapse.

Likewise, if things keep going as they are across the pond we will be hit by a tsunami the likes the world has never seen! While this sounds like a melodrama unfolding it will not be pleasant for anyone.

I hate the fact that I seem so certain about this as well. Trust me, I've tried to ignore the facts but my logical mind will only let me get away with this normalcy bias for so long. While I'm honestly not too afraid of what is to come, because I know I have taken all the necessary steps I need to take, I still hate the anticipation.

The one thing I can't get in my mind exactly is what the total re-set will look like. What will emerge? How will society react?

Short term? The last dip like this dried up the physical metals. We will see how this plays out in a few weeks. If it's a real recovery (har, har, har), the physical will still be available.

I bought a couple hundred ounces of their generic silver. All was .999, but very odd weights and sizes. I'm much a " silver is silver" guy, but was happy when a LCS bought it off of me and took it off my hands.

I haven't personally bought any but have had many people say the same.

I've never purchased from them....

I'm in the mood for the smaller 1oz bars....Engelhard, JM, Credit Suisse, A-Mark...
Sunshine is ok. I'm not a fan of the smaller Monarch 1 oz bar. The only round that appeals to me are the ones by Swiss of America i.e. 1oz and 5 oz.....But hey I want it all close to spot....So I can keep dreaming a little longer I guess. :|

If I could turn a 100oz JM into 100 - 1oz bars I'd be on that in a hurry! :P

I'll add another opinion to this mini brain fart! I know this dip is not the bottom and I'm willing to go on record and make a statement that will be unpleasant for all to hear.... Silver at $22 at some point in 2012. Gulp..... I know that looks bad doesn't it!

It makes no sense but I honestly think it is coming. Regardless, all along the way I will still be buying, Yep! Crazy I know, I am a barbarian what can I say!

In 2013, if the calendar does not end, aliens don't come to take us over or we have a solar flare that puts us in the stone age, this will be but a bad dream. Silver will eventually explode!

In the mean time, I'll keep the major part of my power dry and wait until I see the whites of their eyes before letting loose all the cannons! That will be a big bang!

figured you chose the apmex generic because it was cheap...thats why I suggest sunshine. I would much rather have the other brands as well.

Yes turning the 100oz into 1ouncers will cost ya. I would talk to DOC and see if he wants a 100oz bar to melt lol.
