Punched the button on 200 ozs at just over $28, this afternoon. Of course it dropped 40 cents a couple hours later. I'm saving some more powder for $26, if it gets that low, and if it drops still lower I'll be selling my nickel stash to buy silver.

Waiting for $25 to add more. I think it will get there.

The PMs are moving with the stock market, which is overdue for a major cleanout.

At the rate it's going, $25 might happen by weeks end.

Or not. I tend to think we're not going much below 27 for any useful length of time. If I'm badly wrong I'll take advantage of a deeper dip with another buy.

Good luck.

Well, I learned long ago not to try for the very bottom. Can not resist it at this price. Tomorrow will be another major purchase.
If you are waiting for the "correction" to buy you need to realize that the increasing prices ARE the correction.

When silver hit $22.00 I had a lengthy PM correspondence with old man Ray.

Told him how I was in stunned disbelief that silver was skyrocketing and that the situation was actually worrying me.

I told him that at $25 I would sell half. This was not that long ago. Now I'm looking to buy a pile at $25.

I think I have enough silver now. I won't play the charts. See you guys in 15-20 years, If I'm still alive I hope my silver will help out.

Old Man Ray certainly doesn't have all the answers. He's been getting his butt handed to him in the paper market.

Couldn't resist it this morning. 15 1oz Perth Sealed Bars at $1582.09 each. Scouting out silver deals now. It may go down some more, but I'm content at this price.

Okay, I have a question. I think it's time to pull the trigger and purchase 100 ounces either today or tomorrow. My question is, on the APMEX website it's about $150 cheaper if I just purchase 100 ounces versus 5 mint direct tubes of 20. I don't ever plan on having any of the ASE's graded so I don't see any other reason to purchase the mint direct tubes. Is there any other reason why I should go for these tubes?

Some people are EXTREMELY picky when it comes to ASE's. Therefore they will not buy ASE's that aren't "mint tubed" and/or they will return any that have a single blemish or spot.

So there is *some value* in the mint tubes, but I wouldn't pay $1.50 per coin. More like 5 cents per coin.

Jim I`am one of the EXTREMELY picky ones on the ASE`S.
the last time I ordered from APMEX they came in original green top tubes and I didn`t know to ask for them, but they sent them automatically.

I hope I have the same luck as you, Beau. I pulled the trigger about an hour ago when it was around $27.50. Now it's plunging but I'm okay with that. I may be new to buying physical silver but not in how volatile markets can be so it is what it is. I am done buying for now. Won't have any more scratch until I come back from my National Guard duty at the beginning of July.

Jim did they tell you it takes about 2 weeks to get the ASE`s in.
I sent a bank transfer and it took me 2 weeks.
they were not as busy as they are now I`am sure.
I hope you have someone at home to get your order.
my order came UPS.

They did not tell me that it takes two weeks. I ordered ten ASE's two Mondays ago and over this past weekend I received an email saying that my ten ounces have shipped. I'm sure 100 will take a bit longer. I should be able to pick up the package before I leave for my trip. I leave in about 25 days.
