I think we will start out by seperating out 5 gal jugs of the following before I even try to find errors or other coins!
Copper Cents in one
Zincs in one
Nics in one
Dimes, Quarters, Halfs and Small dollars in one

Well I never went thru these and now have to move them around the house for a remodeling job wife wants popcorn ceiling removed. These jugs are too heavy! a full 5 gal milk can full of cents and another 1/2 full. A full 2 1/2 gal milk can of nickels plus another gallon. And 2 full 5 gal jugs of dimes, quarters, halves and small dollar coins. My 17 year old son who helped me move them said "this is the stupidest thing he has seen" my wife says "we should cash them in"

My wife reminded my son that I cashed in my 1st change jar when we were getting married to get the rings. That change was about 8 years worth. These change jars have been filling up for 23 years now! LOL

Should cash them in and buy Silver on the cheap.
Been sitting on thousands of dollars or nickels and have debating on cashing in and buying Silver for him.

My wife and I save our change in a jar on our kitchen counter. We count it every New Years Eve. We use it to pay down the mortgage. Last year had about $200. Those crummy pennies add up!

Keep stacking!

And of course, see how much of a set you can complete. Modern nickels and clad dimes should be the easiest.

And pace yourself! It's easy to get overwhelmed with that much coin. Wish I could help out!

When sorting put the 1983 cents in a pile and weigh them. Another copper 83 cent was found recently and I think that makes 3 of them. One sold at auction a couple of years ago for 17k plus change.
