Blew the dust off a box of nickels today and sorted them for a change of pace. Results were three war nickels, several pre sixties and a 1939. Pleasantly surprised with this. Wondering if current boxes are this productive.

Havn't found a war nik in the past few $1,000 I've sorted and hoarded away.
Soooo... Is it just me or is a chart of US debt looking dangerously parabolic?

I avg 1 war per box and normally pull a roll of pre 60's. I got skunked on 2 boxes the other night which was a real surprise. It doesn't happen often but, it does happen. At my pace I can get a free roll of eagles about every year if I was to flip the nickels. My 38-49's and 50-59 percentages are about the same which is weird and I guess I get a buffalo about every 10 boxes. I've only found about 10 V's in the last year.
I only hoard the pre 60's / war.

My stats are almost exactly the same as reddirtcoins. 1 per box is surprisingly consistent for me. Every now and the I'll have a skunk or a box with 2-3 but the average is still 1 per box for me.

My average is 1 war and about 23 pre '60, with one buff about every 2 boxes. Did have some truly wonderful boxes some time back with over 400 buffs each, but that was short lived and only in a single order from one bank. nothing like that since.

I sort a box per week. The last 3 weeks each box has averaged 2 war nickels per box. Prior to that, it was averaging 1 but did have 2 skunk boxes as well. I have fond 4 buffalo nickels so far thsi year.

Thanks for feedback. Pulled another box out and sorted to try my luck again. Scored three more war and two Buffalo. These are my first finds in wild. Hope to start a herd. This was also an old box I stored away a while back.
