$2000 Halves - Loomis Boxes

Most all (95%-99% in the boxes) of these halves turned out to be 1999-P BUs. I was sure last week that my source bank was running out of circulated halves, and suppling mostly BUs from their store. Most of these BU's were the scarcer 1999-P, which had only a 8.9M mintage. But, how much demand is there for these really? I hand rolled a box of these, but all bank bullet rolls had to be checked because they were dirty rolls.

I found a 1964 half in the first roll I opened. And, I found no more SILVER in the remaining 249 rolls in the 4 boxes of halves. So, from what I see my local Loomis is getting some circulated halves during the week, and topping the bag off with BU halves. I'd guess no more than $100 of circulated halves/week is coming in to them. Definitely gonna cut back to 2 boxes, so I have less half dollar coins to bring back. Looks like I'm going back to searching dimes.

But, I had my best box of nickels in a long time!
100.00 BWR nickels = 5 war nickels. 2 43-P, 44-P, 45-D (solid EF w/ partial steps), 45-S. Plus a 1935 buffalo in VF. Also got a 1938-D, which is a semi-key i have been searching my change for, for 35 years!
