Nothing but 2012 P's

Dunno what the deal is, but here in Central KY almost all the nickels I've received in change for going on a month now are 2012 P's. The old nicks have literally disappeared. I don't do nickel boxes just the odd twenty bucks here and there and for the last 3 times at the bank, different branches, nothing but new nicks. Can't even get a Denver mint mark coin just Phillys. No big deal, I hang on to all of 'em, but I'm still playing bingo and looking for Buffs and V's, so twenty bucks of '12 Phillys is a let down.

Two more local shops today; dam 2012 nicks and 2012 dimes. What's going on? Has our coinage been debased and TPTB not told us (imagine that )? I dunno. Crummy stamping too, the edges have a sharp ridge. Must be hard to get competent mint workers these daze.

If you were getting solid boxes of the 2012's I would put them up on ebay. Smaller lots probably not...
