A gas station clerk gave me a silver wartime nickelwhen I told her I was a collector.

At the local gas station, the clerk saves all the silver for me and sells it cheap. I have hooked him up with some wheats and copper S-mints for his albums. It pays to talk with people who handle coin/cash. Nice score!

I was buying a few rolls, and she asked what they were for. she opened the backup register and pulled out 2 nickels (one of which was the wtn), so i immediatly purchased them both.
