I can't believe he scored this little gem on the bay!! I talked to him about it last night after confirming a few things. I told him to go for it!! I was shocked at how low it sold for...

Unbelievable. How many ounces of gold is it? The bezels that hold the coins might also be gold and could even be worth the total price paid.

I'm not really up on foreign gold. But since they were soldered doesn't that kill their value?

So the AGW of each coin is 0.217 toz. totaling 0.851 ounces total of pure gold. The fineness of the gold is .917 about 22kt. I told him he is one lucky SOB!! So nearly an ounce of gold at 2004 prices..
