I have a new Nickname!

I went to my CU today to order a shipment of Nickels and Pennies! Was chatting with one of the tellers and another one says, "hey, it's the Nickel Guy!"

They went on to ask me about what I do with all my coins I get from them. I proceeded to tell them a little bit about my coin collecting hobby and maybe even convinced one of them to join us!

Kinda made my day, actually! Now, where did I put those candies....

No, they call me the penny guy. Until I leave, then they probably call me other names. Although at one branch I am The Cookie Guy. They love chocolate chip cookies. I think HCBTT is called the Penny King at his banks!

I was called "the penny guy" by a teller back in the 80s!

I was picking out U.S. pennies, they were worth about 40% more back then and
being young I had a lot of time on my hands back then. ^_-

The teller that called me that was one who floated between different branches
and recognized me from annother branch.

Well, I hand sorted 2 boxes of pennies today. I had a decent percentage of coppers too, around 20 percent! In addition to that, I also found more than 20 Wheats! Not a bad day if I do say so myself

2 boxes left to sort....hope to finish them by the end of this week. We'll see!
