Is that a gross ton (2240lbs)? You think you've got it bad, I've been getting $157.50/gross ton for a while now, and just last week fell to $102/gross ton. Not even worth it for me anymore. I only grab stuff if I happen to come across it.

This is what happened just before the last Olympics.

My yard said it was temporary and because the Chinese shut down to clear the air for the olympics.
Then after the Bejing games, the economy went bad.

I think it is a sign for slower demand and therefore we might be entering ''Recession time''.
