Whats the diameter?
If its well over 22mm, I'm assuming its a brass/bronze gaming token in the style of the 1868 Spanish gold 10 Escuda.
If its close to 22mm, it's counterfit. This looks nothing like gold, and the legends are not spaced properly.

Nice, i am about 93% sure it is not gold based on the color and the black marks on it. However I would take it to a dealer or gold buyer and have them test it to be sure, they will do it for free.
