Very very nice on the rings. Were you hunting a beach or swimming hole?

They all came out of the water. Nine lakes in two days.

Just got home from a little lake I have not been too for about three years. The best thing about the day was finding a little 9 year olds sterling birthstone ring while I was there. She had just gotten it about a month ago, and was told by her dad not to wear it swimming today. Tears rolling down her face turn into a big smile when I handed it back to her, and Bob got a big hug. 8-) Mom was very happy also. This little swimming area was great for the change today.

31 qt.
18 d
14 n
71 p
and two junk rings.

I spent most of today detecting with my buddy Floyd. We hit several schools and a park where we've found some old stuff in the past.

I found:
48 pennies
13 nickels
29 dimes
31 quarters
1 Sacagewea dollar
$12.78 total

Plus:
1 wheatie (1958)
1 silver earring
1 flat button and what I think is a worn smooth large cent but it could be a King George copper, there is no detail left on it at all :(

Got out for a bit today
4 quarters
11 dimes
1 nickel
11 copper pennies
27 zinc pennies
1 ring stamped 925 that has been run over by a lawnmower. Upon closer inspection I found it is copper with 925 silver over the top of the copper. Too bad as it is a pretty heavy ring (or what's left of it LOL).

I'd much rather dig up a decent sinker than a penny nickle, or even a dime.

I always hit the boat ramp areas around here.

You guys are killing me....so I go out this morning after work....and on my 3rd swing......SNAP!!!!!!!

I broke my arm cuff......WTF!!!!! But being the diehard I am.....I found a way to keep hunting. It was hard and I had to really slow down. And that sucks because the ATPro lets you move and swing faster.

ANYWAY......I did find a ring.....junk....but still a ring!!! Throw in a junk earring, too!

I dug my share of pennies, too. I'll total up the stuff after the next hunt or two!

I did get a nice selection of black, brown, and orange dimes and quarters!!!!

No silver or REAL bling!!!!! :x

Well summer has arrived here and the ground is now like a rock. Very hard to dig (clay) without tearing things up so I guess I will have to find a few spots that water the grass LOL.

My ATPro arm cuff broke on my last hunt. Garretts is sending me a new one but I have only one day to hunt. So it was time for the duct tape.

I hit 2 schools and one park. My best find was a HUGE silver ring......I got me some "LOVE"!!!!

Image

I also hit a solid quarter signal at 90 on the VDI. It never bounced and said 2 inches. I slid the lesche into the ground and hit my target. But my target wasn't a quarter....it was this...............I added a quarter to the center just for comparing sizes......!!!!!

Here's a shot for the goodies and some of the usual metal garbage/recycles.

Totals.....

1-silver ring
29-quarters
25-dimes
12-nickels......hunting gold ya' know!!!
61-pennies

127 coins for $10.96

I went out last evening after work for about an hour and a half. I just got the usual clad, copper, and zinc. I hit the park where the local farmer's market is once a week and then the little league complex where they held the state tourney recently. Mostly new drops but a few older dark coins I've missed in the past! :D

No bling jewelry from the little league moms  ! And no jewelry from the craft vendors at the market. Some real nice handmade silver rings and bling on display!!!! But no drops!

It is a class ring and I do intend to try to locate the owner but am not sure how to do that yet as the school it came from is out of state for sure.

Nice class ring! I've returned 2 as well, first check the class ring finder website to see if it's listed there. If not, search the web for the school's alumni or the schools secretary might be willing to pass along your info to them. Good luck! 8-)
