Hey guys n gals i just picked up a $5 half eagle at my local pawn shop 1905 s full sharp liberty 'sorry no pics' im thinkin xf-au for $390 out the door. I rarely buy gold mainly silver and was wondering what your opinion is did i get a deal? thanks in advance

Melt value of that coin is $402.88. I'd say thats a good deal. And yeah, does he have any more at that price?

Nope,no more...he had a 1/10 age ring weighing 8.8gm for $599 i didnt think that was a deal.lol im was just second guessing my purchase since thats a 'lot' of money to me. I 'REALLY' appreciate your opinions guys i have learned a lot from here

you can flip it here, ebay, or anywhere for a profit immediately easily.

$5 Libs have been treading water for the last few months while the $2.5s have been rising. For XF $5 Libs dealers were paying as low as $375 in early June. Now interest has been ignited again and $395 would definitely put you in good deal territory. Good snag.
