What do you guys normally do with your 40% silver?

So what does everyone do with their 40%?

Lately I've been selling it into some silver strength as I can still use a bit of extra cash to pay down debt.

Does anyone trade it for 90% or .999 silver or gold? Or are most just holding on for the long run?

I keep all mine as well silver is silver, have never sold any. Although, when room in the safe runs out I will consider selling to covert to .9 or .999

I keep trading it off for .9 &.999,
at a 10%-12.5% discount to melt,
but it keeps coming back, always at a larger discount, FV - 50%

Haven't sold any in a very long time. One snowy day a couple years ago, I dumped them all out and did a sort. The black, dirty, dinged or other wise ugly coins went into one bag. The AU-BU ones went into another. The smelter doesn't discriminate, but I do.

I like the looks of the gleaming 40% Kens. Might be, too, because I was alive then and spending these rascals in everyday transactions. 'Course, I was also spending Franklins, Walkers, Mercuries and even the occasional silver dollar given to me by my aunt with a moustache.

Keep them, bag them and bury them. I think of each one as two 90% dimes - might be useful making change one day.

Sold all my 40% a year and a half ago to help pay some bills--what was left over I converted into .999 silver.

Hoarded since 2008. Had a moment Of INSANITY this week. Disseminating them amongst fellow realcenters for copper. Knew I shouldn't have stopped my medication this week.
