Country.......THANK YOU!!! Thanks for being my much needed eyes and mind. I have edited my post. I had six rolls total that were 100% Cu but all the zeros ran together so blame it on my vision. PLUS, I can't hold a thought for very long at all so my memory failed me too. In order to check the accuracy of my roll count I have to count to ten by the number of piles for the coins, example count to ten, five times for pennies as there is no way I can count to fifty any more. I have trouble even remembering my count and have to start over too often any more.

I hope my deteriorating health won't cause me to have to surrender this hobby too. :(

$25 Brinks Box/ $25 String Box
$50 searched

1872 non-wheat/non-copper 82's/non-canadian copper cents

+29 wheats (oldest 1909, 1937)
+71 copper 82's
+11 canadian copper cents (oldest 1947-King) (still working on that box)

other finds:

18 s-mints (1968-1974)(still working on that box, too)

The Brinks box was a little low on copper and wheat, but the String box was one of the best ever I've seen. Lots of the rolls were mostly copper. I did the Brinks one first, then the String box. I just added the String coppers and zincs to the piles created by the Brinks box. I wish I hadn't after about 10 rolls. There were lots of super looking shiny coppers in almost every roll! I bet the % on that String box had to have been close to 50%. All I got to show is the totals for both boxes combined!

Do you mean a box of S-mint memorials? Interesting. How far are you? And how much total have you sorted to get to that point?

I'm about half way there. It's been a long hard strugle. Since I'm in Hoosierland, I don't seem to get many s-mints.

Yeah, I get that. In all the time I've been sorting (on and off since the 90's), I've lived in Illinois and Georgia and now back in Illinois. I've always kept the S-mints and my goal was to get a roll of each. I don't know if I've reached that goal, but probably not. I'm a pretty small time sorter...

$22.50 in various customer and machine rolls produced.

451 CU
7 Wheats
1 Canadian

Also when dumping my halves I always toss in 4 zincs to get 4 cents back and this time it worked out nicely.... 2 wheats came out of the change machine at the bank counter.

$15.00 (SHORTED TWO CENTS TOTAL--One of the shorted rolls was again a BWR) - 18 CWRs & 12 BWRs

1959 - 1981 Cu pennies - 353 (Best was 100% Cu X 2 rolls; Worst was 2% Cu X 1 roll--Counting the roll with the 45 wheat cents as the worst roll is sort of an oxymoron but it only contained the one non-wheat 95% Cu coin) :D

Cu "S" Mint Mark - 2 ('70, '74)

1982 Cu - 32
1982 Zinc - 3
(1982 Pennies are checked on a digital scale)

Indian Head - None

Wheats - 49 (Three Pre-40 Wheats--1/1919, 1/1936D, 1/1937)

Canadian Cu - 1 ('57)

2009 - LP1 - 2 (1-"D")
2009 - LP2 - 3
2009 - LP3 - 1 (1"D")
2009 - LP4 - 2
(2009 is the year our son married so I keep the 2009 coins for anniversary coin jars for future anniversary gifts.)

Other - 5 -- 2010 Shield Pennies (all P mint mark)

*Please Note: I do not keep track of the kids' birth years (both are zinc years) any longer, although I save them, unless it is some spectacular amount in a roll.
