I know that I haven't been posting here lately, but figured I would post what I consider a nice score.

Box 1 3-40%
Box 2 23-40%, 1- 1964 2-1987.

There were tons of nicely toned halves from all years. While edge sorting I had to look at a lot of coins to make sure they weren't proofs. There were even a lot of NIFC up to 2011. I should probably buy a Whitman and put together a set.

My half hunting has been a little better these last couple of months.

After a month of sorting dimes and coming up with less and less silver, I thought I would try my luck with halves. I picked up my first box today. I opened up the first roll - SILVER. The second roll - MORE SILVER! There was silver in most of the rolls!

So here's the loot:

29 - 40% SILVER


6 - 90% SILVER KENNEDY


1 - 1960 SILVER FRANKLIN


And to top it all off, I also found a GOLD PLATED half from 1983 (my birth year)!



I'm calling my banks and changing my orders, because I AM HOOKED ON HALVES!
