Yes, this was a good read. Thank you. Of course, one has to allow for the fact that wages were different back then, but still, 1964 has many similarities of today.

I don't think the examples are evidence that silver creates wealth, but rather than silver holds its value in the face of increases in efficiency and economies of scale over the decades. The prices of everything should be getting cheaper over the years, not more expensive.
