Got out with the metal detector early this morning and dug a nice little gold diamond girls ring.
Better yet, while searching a box of pennies tonight, out pops a 1931 S in VF-20+ condition!!!

We are doing great enjoying 12 degree weather and snow ! Looking forward to TX in a month. Did you a get a pic of the ring? Is there a lot of gold or good sized diamond?

And I just starting feeling better about not getting to go dirt fishing with my metal detector. That's one super duper find...the penny, too! Some of my better hunting grounds are under 4-8 foot drifts of snow! Good luck with finds!
