Scrapping Lawnmowers and Making money

I picked up a couple lawmowers for free. I'm pretty sure they are junk and I'm not gonna to hassle trying to make them run. But I it might be a good idea to part them out before scrapping them.

Any thoughts?

This time of year you can buy all the old lawn mowers you want really cheap.

What other parts of the mower will sell well second hand? This looks like an opportunity

You may be surprised how many junk mowers are quite easy to fix. My son picks them up all the time and only junked 1. Bags, wheels, gas tanks, recoil assemblies and maybe carburetors.

Not a bad idea! I usually just separate the alum from the steel, but as I am breaking them down anyway why not save parts!

My father-in-law used to make push mowers out of parts he would pick up at the curb. I used one of them for about 11 years.
