what to do with phone chargers?

We have a phone recycling company that pays us for every phone that is donated to us. The people usually donate more than just the phone. The recycling company only takes the phone and batteries. What can I do with all of the chargers? Is their an easy way to take out the copper? Is their someone who will take it as is? I have a box full of this stuff. Thanks for any help you may provide. Scrap yards will take them and give you #2 insulated price for them. Some yards you may need to cut off the ends some yards you do not!

Sell em as lots on e-bay.

I was really happy to find the charger I needed, used.

People will buy them and resell tham again.

Or, remember all wire has scrap value.

As mentioned, they are usually worth more for reuse than as scrap. It's also good to have some of each brand to test phones as you get them.

That said, AC adapters are their own class of electronic scrap, usually priced below electric motors. The reason is much of the weight is plastic.

If you can sell them intact as #2 insulated wire and get away with it, that's by far the best price you'll get for them as scrap. Yards that pay good prices on wire will have you remove the plugs.

Great thanks! I'll keep piling them in my office. I'm willing to give them away here for free if anybody needs a certain type of charger for their phone.
