The last year for U.K. circulation Ag was 1946. That `58 is CuNi.

The guy did reply and said that he would pull if I was correct. The auction ended before there were any bids.

I have noticed quite often that people are either trying to pull the wool over the bidders eyes or that they don't know what they are selling. I liked to think it's the latter. But you have to DYODD., when it comes to buying on eBay. Buyer Beware.
