Gold Rush Gold Giveaway

Postby cesariojpn » Fri Oct 26, 2012 1:33 pm

So if you guys haven't seen it yet, Gold Rush is giving away $100,000 in cash.....or GOLD. Register, watch the new season episode, find the code, and type it in for a chance to win.

http://goldrushgiveaway.com

Hopefully someone on the east coast is nice enough to post the code so that other folks here who refuse to watch the show or just want to watch the show without entering the code can do so.

I watched the first season on Netflix from start to finish. It blew my mind. Everyday I foamed at the mouth thinking, that maybe, just maybe, they could pull it off. Then they got to the last episode.

The whole premese of the show is that they are putting EVERYTHING on the line for this one shot at gold. They get no gold (supposedly). At that point they should all give up and live as paupers for the rest of their lives, right? Wrong. They say next season they are going to do it even bigger. Helicopter mining. More explosions. Bigger equipment. Higher in the mountains.

I don't get mad easily, but I threw my controller across the room. Everything I believed in... was a lie. They make money on the TV show, and not on mining. It was the ultimate betrayal. :x

But, that doesn't meant I wont sign up for this.

I don't believe that was real gold. At least I swear I thought I heard them say that.

I generally enjoy the show. Is it Hollywood, of course, but it is interesting at least. I think Dave will smoke the others this year, especially if he has Freddy Dodge working with him. They are the sharpest two of the franchise.

I'd wager Dakota Fred hits the mother lode and that I win the gold giveaway; hope I'm right about the latter

You guys are right, I hope all of them do well. I don't want to see anyone do well at the expense of the others. Call me a hopeless romantic, but I like the notion that there is still a chance to make your own fortune in this Country.

Dakota Fred was on the gold when things ended in 2011. Season is longer there than the Klondike. His operation seemed like the best run.

Fred or Parker. Can't stand the Hoffman's. No one in their right mind would loan money to those guys on a hope and a prayer. If it weren't for Disovery making a mockery of that group they'd never truly have a mine and noone would waste the time leasing them land when there are 50 other established miners ready to lease.

I say focus on Fred and Parker and have a real show!

Put your money on Parker, He is having a hard time right now, with the man who was supposed to be in charge of drying the ore and weighing it. But he will get it worked out. This kid grew up chewing on a gold nugget from his Grand Pa, and he knows how to do it. He has a lot of new ground under new lease, so keep your eye on that young man.
