Silver spoon from Peru

Silver spoon from Peru

I came across a spoon today that is stamped "solid Peru silver" on the back, there are no other markings. Does anyone know about these and the silver content?

I hope it's not like "solid German silver"

Peru Silver is just nickel
Falls in same category as German Silver, Silverode, Nickel Silver, Alpacha,etc.
If it was silver from Peru I assume their purity to be .800/.835 and marked as so on their silver objects
