I'm waiting for an upside confirmation of yesterday's move. So far, it's just a brief holiday rally. :?:

Thank you guys for such kind remarks. I'm only able to be here for a flash every now and then but its great to see such strong community.
I'm confident that the current cyclical shift, while still emergent, will give many something to be thankful for.

Happy Thanksgiving!

The rally continues. Nice kick this morning, with gold >$1750 and silver > $34 again.

Looking GOOD! True confirmation will be a break above $1800 for GOLD, and a significant rise above $35.50 for SILVER out of their trading ranges. NEXT WEEK???

I want PMs to move higher, and this has been a very long consolidation, but we're still in the festive low volume holiday week. If next week continues the momentum, then we've really got a ROARING LION OF A RALLEY... :mrgreen:

Unfortunately, it's starting to look like a brief low volume holiday rally.... :(

Got long gold options today.

from forex;

Gold
Prices appear to have carved out a bullish Inverse Head and Shoulders chart pattern confirmed with a close above neckline resistance at 1737.28, 23.6% Fibonacci retracement. The setup implies a measured upside target at 1802.06. The 1737.28 level has been recast as near-term support, with a break below that aiming for the 38.2% Fib at 1688.65.

Silver
Prices are testing resistance at 34.18, the 38.2% Fibonacci expansion. A break above that exposes the 50% level at 35.29. Near-term rising trend line support is at 33.12 and is reinforced by the 23.6% Fib at 32.84. A drop below the latter level aims for the November 5 low at 30.65.

Who knows?
Here's one explanation.

---------------------
I am of the opinion that yesterday’s move is consistent with coordinated weakness and artificial selling pressure associated with some large investor(s) or trader(s) desire to move the market lower for what could be any number of reasons. We’ve seen this before and will likely see it again. But was this a clear example of market manipulation?
