I saw a link from a coin shop I have bought from before he is selling US Proof sets for $7 shipped and US Mint sets fro $5 shipped. You can requests specific years, but not guaranteed. Is this a good deal?
1968, 1969, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1976, 1977, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1992, 1993, 2000, 2005
Selling US pennies 1.9 face shipped. Never mind I am keeping everything!

If the specific years are not guaranteed it probably means if you request a common date he will give it to you, but if you request a more rare date he will just give you a common date set. Does he offer any silver proof sets?

I know of one dealer selling most of those for $5, so with shipping it's about par, but as investments they are poor.

Yeah, what fb101 says, as a place to park money for a return....look to some other vehicle. But if you like nice looking coins that are pretty and inexpesive a few of these sets will do you.
