I'm right there with you Ray. Jumped the gun a couple of days ago on half of a monster box of eagles $34. Decided it's time to reload on the paper trade now. Picked up 900 shares of SLV @28.78 a few minutes ago. It is trading right above that 5 year uptrend line. Didn't figure we would get back down to this level (not this quickly anyway) but here it is.

the two most likely times that "da boyz" hammer the markets are at 10:00 and 13:00 EST... you may not get a better opportunity if the market doesn't show a further pullback after that time :?

then again, they love to hammer the markets on Friday's.... what the heck do I know, anyways

in the end (two years from now) we'll all be smiling

It executed :)

I'm back into some fake silver again :) Exercise price of only $29 so I should have a pretty low risk proposition on my hands.

Well,
Yesterday I purchased 3966.5 ounces of various silver.
Certainly happy to not be holding it now.
Sold it all during my drive to the dealer from where I bought it.  :D

Paper:
Underwater 20%+ from USLV purchase 2 days ago. It was a small block that I will add to.

Physical:
"Bought out" a RCer's Silver stack two days ago. I was underwater melt before the Ink dried on the Check. No problem, some better premium rounds will cushion the loss.
This space for rent. :)

Might I ask where you can buy at "current" spot? Most places I see are SUPER slow at lowering when the market dips, but quick to raise...I was thinking about buying a little bit.

If you buy in the "bulk" category, generally 500 ounces or so, you can buy from places where the price is literally spot plus some factor.

This is one reason I have a "paper" account. You can always do a trade on paper and then roll it into physical later when the gap closes. Don't know how much you are wanting to purchase but sometimes if you call the bigger dealers you can get a better deal on the phone than what they offer online.

I'm sorry for being dense, but I am uber new to the whole PM market. Buying some junk silver coins or an oz of .999 is really what I can afford most of the time, but could you point me toward some really good info about buying paper (I assume stocks/futures) and how to "roll" it into something I can put in my safe? Thanks in advance

I don't know if anybody caught the deal on 2012 1/2 oz dragon lunar on provident site. they had 5,000 and were going for $17.55. I picked up 100. I've never seen anything like it. I kept hitting refresh and they kept getting gobbled up. Btw, it is no accident that the Treasury Sec halted production of ASE's and then this smack down happened. I've already ordered and paid for my 2013 ASE's. I hope there are no problems.

Stock symbols (there are others, here are a couple off the top of my head):

SLV
SIVR

They mirror (basically) spot price although not necessarily at the same price as spot.

To "roll" them into physical is a 2 step process. First you sell your "paper" then you use the profits to buy physical. Since the movement of physical and "paper" are the same you can do so pretty easily although you are controlling both manually rather than an actual "roll into".

So is this happening becausethere are probibly many people who not normally into silver dabbling in it for the first time because of the dec 21st thing?
