well, just pulled the trigger after watching all morning (wouldn't you know that NOW it starts to dip )

Picked up 5000 1/10 oz and 510 1/2 oz from Quality Silver Bullion @$29.98... I'm content, I DO believe in Santa

Time to come to terms with my fears and desires. Should I pull the trigger now on the same 1/2 oz silver and blow the last of my cash or wait till next month for a semi-numi coin release that I've been waiting to get my hands on.

from Westminster at spot $30.40.

Keeping 40% of my powder dry in case of a further drop.

silver down 88 cents now, just picked up another 500 1/2 oz .999 Buffaloes... this time from Golden State Mint as Westminster doesn't adjust their prices rapidly... they're still showing the same price I bought at earlier even with a further 25 cent drop

Can't go wrong with gold fracs, especially when you can pick them up during a dip. Never hurts to diversify a bit.

Price was down overnight, just got another 150 Peace and 150 Eagle type 1/2 oz .999 from Westminster (takes them forever to modify their prices, missed out at $29.54, but got in at $29.90)

I'm now sidelined until the money tree showers me with some more leaves

If you had unlimited access to money wouldn't it be smart to push the paper market as low as you could to get more bang for your buck when buying physical? There is a chance that it won't matter how many short paper positions they have since they won't be worth anything anyway. But in the event they have to print some more to cover it, at this point what's that really going to matter?

lets say you are uncle sam. if you print money to buy gold, then the money you print becomes worthless. you kill the golden goose. but if you print only a litle bit of money to keep the price of gold down then your money appears to (mostly) retain its value.

if you china, its in your interest to have the price low and to accumulate physical. eventually when Sam has no more gold, Sam's paper is worthless. Market sees you have gold and then your paper becomes valuable.

if you are not uncle and merely work for uncle, you have to show a profit by making the roller coaster go up and down and shaking money out of the pockets of those on the ride. you can make the ride go very fast, high or low because you have a safety net - the fact that uncle stands behind you with an unlimited check book. of course, the score it taken periodically, such as the end of a quarter.
