Found a 1909 plain no VDB in fine condition. Saw it when I was cracking rolls for the Ryedale.

Found a plain 1909 in a $25 Brinks box. It is in really bad shape. No 'S' and no 'VDB' that I can see.

I found a 1909 Indian Head Penny today, but unfortunately it was not an S. I am still very happy with the find. My second Indian Head for the year so far.

We found our second 1909 plain this week after finding none since we started in January.

My son has been showing tellers his first 1909 and telling them its a little beat up, what do you expect from something so old. One of the older tellers got a good laugh out of that astute observation.

1909-VDB found in a CWR roll.
I almost missed it, it had lots of original mint luster left so I passed by during a quick check. I caught it when I was refilling the roll, and actually saw the VDB before I saw the 1909. I had that split second as I turned it over just hoping for an S. I'm not complaining though, it's a solid VF, almost borderline EF condition.

Hello, I acquired a coin collection and there were 10 1909 vdb's. They all seem to be in nice condition. Although, none appear to have an S mint mark. Could I get a general idea of what they would be worth. Thanks in advance!
