I found this half dollar the other day. The 9 looks a little "off". I can't tell if it is an error or post mint damage. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Looks like something dinged the rim of the coin and pushed that displaced bit of metal into an odd, but coincidental alignment with the tail of the 9. Might see that better under magnification.

Yeah. That looks like what is it now that you spelled it out for me. It looks like there is a bit of metal missing to the right. Thanks for your help guys
