I have three of these that a friend gave me. He replaced them in 3 different Wii systems. Anyone dealt with them before? Is there any useful stuff inside? Could they maybe be sold as-is to someone who could repair them?
Any help would be mucho appreciado.

I think there's only two things that can go wrong with them. Either the laser quits or the motor quits. The laser can be bought for about $13. Rebuilt Wii drives go for about $25 on Ebay. I don't know if the motor can be replaced.
I've got an old Wii drive sitting on top of my desk and I'm planning to throw it in with my E-scrap.

Cleaning out the garage, and these are still sitting on the shelf out there. Anyone else have any insight on what can be done with these?
