Ebay sends a confirmation email whenever you buy coins, which can be used to support the cost basis. I keep any seller receipts whenever I buy on ebay just in case. RC sales/purchases may be harder to document depending on how specific the private messages were. Honestly I wouldn't worry too much unless your capital gains run into the thousands.
I've often wondered whether the IRS would be willing or able track and/or supoena to internet activity to track down capital gains revenue. Probably not yet but perhaps in the not-too-distant future.

The Church does not pay taxes. Individual priests do. In New York we have to pay city, state and federal taxes just like everybody else.
